Disappearing SERP Positions?

Here's a problem i've been curious about for some time. I have a yoga channel with over 160 videos. There have been numerous times when I'll notice our channel appearing on Page 1 for a competitive search (The channel, not a video). It will be there for a week or a month - then poof, one day it's gone. Not pushed to P2, P3 or P10 - but GONE DADDY GONE.

Does anyone have insight into this phenomena?

Related to this, we've noticed that some videos when they start getting ranked really high will also disappear. Then if I go into the video and change the title by one letter, they instantly re-appear. Again, total mystery. Why does this happen?

Try using Incognito if you are using Chrome, when trying to check your rankings or tubebuddy. I say that because when you are logged into your account and make a search with the same browser sometime your channel or videos are placed where it normally isn't. Hope that helps
