Deleted video.

When I was uploading a new video I saw that there was a double copy of the last video I posted. I clicked on it and it showed an error. So I deleted the double which actually deleted the original... is there any way to get that video back? No I don't have it saved anywhere else. Just on YouTube.

Once a video is deleted - There is no possible return.

To be honest, YouTube does have the ability to re-instate the deleted video but they aren't going to do it unless it's for a major channel.

Nope, it's gone. You need to back up all of your videos. I have over 500 videos on my channel and every single one of them are backed up locally.

I had the EXACT same thing happen like a year ago, I did actually contact YouTube about it, and they said there was no way to re-instate the video... which sucks, since I had quite a few views/likes/comments on it

It's super frustrating
