Debating Whether I Should De-partner or Stay

The best benefit that I can see from being with a network is that your videos can be instantly monetized as soon as they are uploaded. They don't get 'held for review'.

If one was not in a network,i in order to avoid being delayed, I could always upload videos and have them scheduled to publish a day or two early to make sure that they have been approved for monetization before being published.

Otherwise, I'm not finding much benefit from being with a network.
My adsense videos were always approved right away... My main curiosity is if my network is actually helping me get views and better ads which I probably wouldn't be able to find out until actually separating.

That would be interesting to find out. You may wind up netting more since you don't have to give a cut to the network.

Think about it realistically. Last month, you got about 70k total views. From what you've written here before, I'm going to guess that your earnings are around $70 for that month. Am I close? With a network taking 20-30% of those earnings, that means their take is $14-21. How much time do you think they put into selling ads for channel if they payoff for them is $14-21 per month? Chances are no one is selling ads for your channel. If you're lucky, there are similar channels in your network and you are placed in a vertical with them so that your views are aggregated and ads sold for that vertical trickle down to you. In reality, the majority of the ads on your videos are probably obtained via auction and you're not doing any better than you would on adsense.

The same goes for someone getting 10-20x your monthly views. Even at 1 million views per month, it's unlikely that a network would dedicate the time to sell ads specifically for that channel. There's simply not enough income generated to justify the time.

So AdSense would probably be a good choice again it seems. I've just been looking at their cut compared to what my YT earnings are and it makes me wonder if being partnered really gives me that much....

There's no harm in going on your own for awhile and finding out for yourself. Who knows, they may offer you a better deal to stay (revenue share). You may find a better deal elsewhere. Without knowing your current deal, I would think that it is a safe experiment to leave for awhile.
