Davinci Resolve?

I've heard a couple of co-workers mention that they use Davinci Resolve for their editing, or that they're planning on switching to it.
How good is it? Is it better than Vegas Pro 14?

its ok but the free version is limited and if people have reported that it needs good hardware to run it.

It's very good for free, but isn't the best or most efficient out there. I'm sure that it would be better than Sony Vegas though.
