Custom URLs for both Youtube and Google Plus

Hi, I would like custom URLs for both my YouTube and Google Plus pages. I was able to get one for my YouTube channel first, before getting one for my Google Plus. However, it seems I can no longer get a Google Plus custom URL since I've claimed one for my YouTube already? Would it have worked had I done it the other way around - i.e. get a Google Plus custom URL, then a custom YouTube one? If so, is it possible to remove my custom Youtube URL, grab a Google Plus one, then add on the same YouTube one as previous?

Hmm, that's odd Google lets you have both custom URL's. Head to aboutme.google(.com) - without the brackets ofcourse lol - and it should list your custom URL's and how to edit them.

Ah yes after getting enough followers I was able to change it, I'm not sure why the Google FAQ seemed to say otherwise.

I was an early Google Plus user and remember getting my custom URL for G+ right around the time that they launched. Before that I had a custom YouTube URL. The G+ Custom URL gave me a corresponding YouTube URL and then later it gave me another. I have 3 custom YouTube URL's that all point to the same channel, lol....
