Custom Thumbnail won't save

So I always upload a custom thumbnail and when I published my most recent video it doesn't show the custom thumbnail. It automatically saved with one of the three YouTube gives you standard. I have tried to re upload the thumbnail or choose a different one of the three standard ones and it won't work. It still only shows the same one after I click save. Any suggestions?

I think its a matter of youtube not updating its cache. Is it fixed by now?

Give it a couple hours. Sometimes it can be slow

Sometimes I have this issue when I try to upload the thumbnail WHILE the video is uploading, and once I wait a bit after it's finished it's fine. I usually just hide my videos until the custom one is up if this is the case..
