Curious about branding

How much do you guys feel it affects the viewer, a lot of people say they stayed within the first 5 seconds because of my 2D animated intros but tbh, i randomly dont use them and the engagement doesn't change. I have made around 20+ animated intros just to do it and i alternate random and i plan to create many more. I have also created CGI incorporated outros that i have yet to implement but i plan to implement one on my second channel. I am just wondering if you guys believe it is of any importance. I learn pretty much any program fast so if needed i could create whatever i need but i have no idea, what i "need". Everything has been based on what i wanted at that particular moment. No opinion is a bad opinion, please share your thoughts on the subject.

I personally think that effort into intros shows that you actually put effort into your production as whole. It gives a slight boost to professionalism so to speak.
