Collaborations!

Hey guys,

I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas on collaborations!

How many of you do collaborations?
Were they difficult to setup? Why or why not?
What kind of network features would encourage more collaborations?
How do you decide who to collaborate with?
Do you see a growth spike after a collaboration?

Thanks folks! =D

I love collabs, its fun and i collab with anyone with good quality gear, subs and views matter not as its the person im working with, not their channel.

I do collaborations every so often and all of them so far have been online and most via YTtalk's collaborations and meetups section.

Most of them have been fairly easy to set up, I use Google Drive to do any scripts and share them so we all know what were doing. The editing process on a few has been very time consuming but it doesnt put me off them.

Some sort of matching system between partners could work for getting partners from the same area collaborating together, where they put in their interests and area and then the partners could be set up to talk to each other in some sort of PM system. Not sure how that would work with under 18s.

I havent seen any significant growth spikes when doing collaborations, it doesnt disappoint me as I tend not to go into a collab expecting a lot of promotion and do it for the fun of it.
