I just published a video and cannot create the thumbnail.
I do everything as usual, create the TN in Photoshop and save as JPEG, but I am getting the message:
"Unexpeted end of JSON input".
Has anybody had this problem?

This sometimes happens to me too. Its frustrating. You could try saving in another format such as as a PNG or what ever else Youtube recognises. And watch the file size, There is a maximum file size, but I forgot how much it is.

Try saving it in png instead and try checking the size of it maybe you went over the maximum size

Just for future reference,
copy paste "solution" from elsewhere.

can be easily solved by opening the image in the default applications of your operating systems and saving them as JPEGs

If opening your JPEG Image shows the following error, here's a super quick and easy fix for both Windows and Mac. This error: "Could not complete your request because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found.", can be easily solved by opening the image in the default applications of your operating systems and saving them as JPEGs.
