Can You Post Stream Clips With Commentary?

Hi everyone!

I came up with an idea of talking about different pro players for a game and analyzing the qualities that make them so great. With such an idea, it'd be more appropriate to take clips from their gameplay and commentate about them rather than use my own gameplay. If I was to take twitch clips from a pro player and add commentary to it, would that be appropriate or would I be subject to copyright issues?

What your describing sounds like fair use, if you are making something transformative or for review it is A-OK!

I agree. It does sound like fair use because you are technically critiquing someone, so that should be just fine!
