Why not? Its the same as any other video. As long as your talking over some content or if its a video of yourself theres no problem.

You can but why would you do it? A giveway is like a movie/game trailer. The video itself is an ad so you woudn't want people to watch 2 ads right?
Turning off ads means more people will watch your video (giveaway). Watching your giveaway means there might be a higher chance of them doing what you want them to do.

makes sense, but how do you "NOT" monetize a video considering everyone is forced to monetize videos regardless.
