Camera Shopping :)

Hey all! How are you? I hope you said well, so I can say "that's great!"
It's that time of the year again, the time for camera shopping. Super stressful!
I'm looking for a DSLR, because I'm into photography, I love taking photos! I also want a camera that has good video quality, because my video camera is POS and my other camera has the annoying crunching of the auto focus.
I've narrowed it down to the Canon EOS Rebel t3 and the Nikon 1 J1
if anyone can help me choose one, that would be AWESOMEEEEE! So I can order it, and hopefully have it by .... friday so I can have it on my trip!

They're both good camera's. I would research the spec's to see if they fit what it is you're trying to do.

Oh god, I have no idea. I just use my iphone for a camera. Sorry.

Well, I have a Canon 600D and it's awesome for both photo's and video
