For the 2nd time Youtube/Google sent me auto email with this information
the changes will take effect on 25th May

Ad technology providers
As part of Google’s commitment to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we provide publishers with controls to select which ad technology providers are allowed to serve and measure ads in the European Economic Area (EEA), to support ad delivery, ad measurement, and other functions. All providers listed have shared certain information that is required by the GDPR, a link explaining their data usage that you can share with your users as part of your consent flow, and they have agreed to comply with our data usage policy

We encourage you to use these controls to select your preferred list of ad technology providers to work with, and which ones are right for you. We built controls for you to choose the ad tech providers you work with so you are in control of the activity on your site. If you don’t engage with the controls, the commonly used set of ad technology providers indicated will serve starting on May 25. The commonly used set comprises the ad technology providers representing the most revenue to publishers from EEA users from all programmatic demand sources.

Our EU User Consent Policy requires that you clearly identify each party with whom data will be shared. So whether you use a custom set of ad technology providers or use the commonly used set, you will need to list these providers for your users.

You can view these controls and the list of ad technology providers in your DFP, Adsense or AdMob account. For convenience, we have also listed the certified providers below. Any ad technology provider with an asterisk is part of the commonly used list.

DFP: https://support.google.com/dfp_premium/answer/9012903
Adsense: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9012903
AdMob: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903

e.g. Google, Adaramedia, Adacado, AdClear, ADEX, Evidon, Gfk, Gemius, and lots more

We get to choose these Ad providers or Youtube will use the one's with star mark (commonly used) question is, how will this affect monetisation? and will choosing lets say, all of the company's from the list, instead of only commonly used, will that provide more revenue / bigger monetisation?
