Probably a combination of both. PD 11 might run better on a system with great hardware, but I don't think it ever runs fluently. Have you tried defragging your drive(s)?

all the time... On second thought, I have had this laptop of mine (his name is Scrambles :3) for a little over a year, and I have had to get him repaired twice... Both times being because of the Hard Drive.... Soooo it's about time to upgrade to a desktop or a mac.... once I have the money.
