Hey everyone so totally new to video stuff,
Been trying to get my head round what I'm doing wrong all week sure I've gotta be missing something
so filming with a Go Pro Hero 6 some quite fast paced on board clips on my motorcycles an following some other classics.
exporing in 1080p
Computer setup is an old 2009 uni body mac book pro
os is el capitan
tried a few differnt bits of software but nothing seemed to fix it so settled on Imovie for doing my vids
version is 10.1.6 know its old but its all i can get to
Been going file - share - file
resolution 1080p - quality custom 26.6 mbps compress on faster tends to be about 200-300mb
this gives an mp4 file looks great locally but been suffering with all the footage after its processed on youtube etc
(just notced an option for pro res which makes a .mov) not tried this yet file for a 1 min clip is about 1.6 gb
Did download handbrake but not had a play with this yet, just wondering if anyone has some wisdom or advice on what I'm doing wrong
seems to go soft and look very pixilated / blocky in some areas.
Huge thankis in advance
