background not uploading :(

i use to be able to upload almost any image as a background... i sot of put a background together and am struggling to upload it. is the background max size really 1mb now :eek: the template alone is 4mb[DOUBLEPOST=1352960201,1352954684][/DOUBLEPOST]think i got it sorted lol i wasnt exporting it i was just trying to upload project :p check out my simple channel XD

Yea the background size may really be the problem. Gotta figure out a way to make it smaller. I used to run into this problem until I realized that the size was the problem >w<[DOUBLEPOST=1352960351,1352960307][/DOUBLEPOST]

lol im using gimp 2 to make the background now i just need to learn how to make sub buttons lol

Yes the BG size is the problem. I once made a BG that was a few KB over the limit, and it just would not load..
So somehow you're gonna have to cut down somewhere:)

Made a little picture guide on decreasing size (images are bad quality because my PS crashed and toke a screen shot of what I had done while it was crashing rofl)

yea basically i did what your all suggesting lol. with gimp when you go to export the progect it lets you select the size of file you want. then preview it at that size
