First of all, I would NOT take a break from making videos, unless that break means jotting down ideas on how to improve my likelihood of getting my future video to be better and viewed by more people. Spend more time focusing on figuring out whether making videos are even for you. Do you have what it takes to make it to the big time? Are you honest about the quality of your videos? Do you think your videos are on par, if not better, than those that are already covering your niche?
My motivation isn't about seeing numbers go up all the time or forcing the issue by pumping out crappy videos. My motivation is reminding myself, "If you don't get this going, then what other option do I have?" For everyone that truly believes this is their calling and feel that they can make an impact with their content, there is no other option.
