Are you allowed to use game trailer footage in your videos even if you do not monetize the video?

Hey. I was wondering if I make a video using some trailer footage of games, and dont monetize the video-will YouTube say that is copyright?

only if you get a ton of views and the game company gets p****d (vage) way to see it

You can do it, but the video game company can claim the footage any time they want and your account will still get flagged, monetized or not. It's always better to stay within a partnership to be protected from these claims.
