Are words needed?

When I vlog I like to tell a part of my story through a nice edit put together with music. sometimes I feel like i could fill up an entire episode with just that. Do you feel like you need someone talking through an episode or would a little context than followed by a story work for you as a viewer?

We think that if the video clips that go with the music are nice to look at, it's ok, but sometimes is might be nice to have some talking for certain every day vlogs

All that matters is that you can successfully tell a story. If you believe that you can convey your message and "say" everything that you want to by not actually talking then I say to go for it. The cool thing about video is that the video itself tells a story and the audio just enhances it. Take a chance, experiment see the kind of response you gain from it.
