Anyone had a video go from Non-monetised to Monetised?

So I had a video that was flagged for inappropriate content and I got the yellow $.
It had been up for 2+ years and over 10 million views. And almost embarassed to say I have earned nearly $10'000 from ads on that video alone.
I requested manual review and on YT checking that confirmed something was inappropriate for all advertisers so it was set to a firm yellow $.
Basically the thumbnail was a little too risque for YT.
I accepted it, forgot about it and moved on.
But just over a week ago (About 6 months of no ads) I noticed its monetised and running ads again?
How?

Is it a personal reason or just you do not want to be the big guy around?

I've had several get reviewed and determined safe for all advertisers. But I do have one that was set to age restricted and they confirmed it was when I disputed it. It's pretty dumb. It's my "horror version" of the Little Baby's Ice Cream commercial.
