I want to make my first serious short film, and wanted to know what I should be worrying about the first time around. If anyone has any tips/ things they wished they'd known on anything from pre to post production on a first short film please share.

1. Script it so you remember your lines, it doesn’t have to be word for word but just enough so you remember.
2. Have good sound quality
3. Good lighting,

Make sure to have enough SD cards for your video, and transfer all the footage to somewhere safe as soon as you get home! I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally deleted content for my video... :/

Make sure your microphones are turned on before you film.

Applying basic 3-point lighting techniques + a good microphone can turn an amateur video into something that looks super professional.

Charge all batteries and have several charged spares if you are going on a long shoot.
