Account protection. 2-step sign-in of gmail secure enough against hacks?

I would like to find out if the sign-in process of a Personal Gmail account with 2-step verification turned on, is generally enough from a security point of view, to serve as the sign-in process for a YouTube channel, and protect against a hack?

I wonder what the average YouTuber uses for sign-in process... It's just somehow hard to think that for example a big Youtuber with 5 million+ subs uses the same thing as me - a personal gmail account with 2-step verification on.

Is this the way to go?

Yes, also meanwhile i got a similar answer on another platform saying basically the same thing - that long, strong, random and unique passwords across different accounts with two-step verification is as safe as one has to get in general. Thank you for your input Katy!
