About the advertisers from last year

So, I heard that back in March last year, a lot of advertisers have pulled from youtube due to their ads appearing next to offensive videos.

Where did they go then after pulling out from youtube? Is there another video sharing site that generates enough views per day for them to rely on?

Why doesn't Google allow the advertisers to choose which channels they would and would not like to have their ads appeared on?

You heard it right and it's sad......Well there was a news that amazon is coming out with youtube like website soon to compete. I guess we just have to wait for that lol.

To answer the question. They spent their ad budget elsewhere on other media and other websites. Some video, some not video, some not internet too probably I suppose. There are millions of websites and ad networks to choose from.

They came back a while later (unannounced). You can choose what channels you want, or don't. You can also target google preferred channels
