Hey everyone, I just had a few questions regarding the audience retention graph on YouTube.
If a person chooses to forward a part of the video, how would it appear on the graph? Would it just show a small % increase (little bump) around the area that they forwarded to? And the opposite for rewinding if they rewind to a spot that they didn't see yet? (an increase in the % on the graph for that spot?)
It says that there is a dip on the graph when viewers are skipping a part of the video, so it just means that its MANY viewers skipping over the same part of the video?
Also, for gradual decline, it says viewers are losing a bit of attention over time, but this means the same thing as saying that viewers are leaving the video, right?
Thank you!
