Yesterday, within 24 hours, I saw a very unusual spike in views for one music video in amount of 10M views (had 20M before this in one month since the release). Those spikes went in chunks of 3-4M at once. Same happened to at least 4-5 videos I saw.
Most interesting part - those views in all those videos increased almost exactly 1 month after release date. Also all those videos released this year. Is it new thing? Could it be that they views have been marked as fraud due to repeated viewing but later audit algorithms based on logged data confirmed that the views were coming from real people?
