250 subs in 1.5 years

CrazFrank

Loving YTtalk
I have finally reached 250+ subscribers wish for my channel is definitely an achievement but at the same time it has taken me a year and half in order to reach this point... and this can be a bit heartbreaking because I have been active all this time. So I am 50% happy and 50% sad but I do not plan to quit anytime soon and I wanted to show you all that perseverance is the key to this game, even if it takes me 5 years to reach 1k subs.

Congratz on reaching 250, hopefully 1000 won't take you 5 years :)

Question: Why do you hide your sub count? You'd be surprised how many times I would have considered subscribing to someone and what prevented me was that person was hiding their count.

Hi dude!
I like what you're doing with the videos and I'm really surprised you've only got 250 subs. Are you advertising them anywhere? Social networking or anything like that? I'd also suggest cutting the videos into smaller segments since watching a 20 minute video can be pretty daunting for people who don't know who you are. The XCOM 2 stuff could maybe have been snipped down to say 5 10 minute videos and set in a playlist, more videos means more chance of people seeing them and if they like the videos they'll watch others. Maybe some more aggressive editing as well, cutting out unnecessary parts of the let's plays like loading screens or whatever. Your tagging looks good as well so I'm not sure why they're not showing up more on searches but I'm not great at the SEO stuff anyway. Oh and try dropping the audio levels of the game itself, it can be quite tough to hear you in places.

Congrats on the 250!

It took me me one in a half year to get 200+ subs and I don't want to wait another 5 years to grow and congrats

the fact that you have carried on even with your slow sub gain. shows your determination. i checked out some of your videos and they are getting better and better. the next 250 will be a ton quicker!

I think you will find that the bigger you get the faster you grow. I think 1.5 years to get 250 subs is not bad at all. And the next 250 will come a lot faster.

Congrats on the 250!

I been having a lot of problem with computer performance as of latently and is the main reason why i slowed down on video making for now. The audio card was one of them(making me hear the game REALLY low even with headset) and i had to order a new CPU/Mobo, the cpu was dying as well. Now all that is left is to get me a new GPU to increase my frame rate quality and bump video quality to 60fps, i think a NVidia 1080 will solve all my problems once and for all.Video length wise i will definitely listen to your advice and try to short them down a bit after thinking of what you said, i do find it funny how i learned so much about 3D animation and yet had almost no knowledge on video editing but the good thing is i am learning more and more by the video. Took me 4 month of heavy webcam sync editing to realize the desync happening was because i completely forgot to install the webcam drivers..derp.

Thank you everyone for your words and advice. Definitely gives you a breath of fresh air and motivation to keep on going.
