I've been recording at 17Mbps, but only uploading at 1280x720.

I'm starting to get more views, so I think it may be time for me to start uploading at 1920x1080.

Should I continue to record at 17Mbps or go to 24Mbps?

Also, do I need to make any changes to the default export settings, such as the quality (picture attached)?

p.s. Canon Vixia HF R800 and Adobe Premiere Elements.

I don't use Adobe Premiere, but every Youtuber should be uploading at 1920x1080 for the best quality. As for export settings, it's probably best to set it as high. This may take more time to render but it's worth it.

I'm guessing that means going to 24Mbps as well. I'll shoot some test video and upload it to YouTube and make sure everything works ok. Thanks!
