14 years ago today, the very first YouTube video was uploaded

On 23rd April 2005 (14 years ago), the very first YouTube video was uploaded:

For info the guy in the video is one of Youtube's co-founders before they sold it to Google. I've heard that he doesn't like the direction Google has taken the platform in. He very publicly criticised them when they they forced users to create a Google+ account in order to be able to write a comment under a video, for example.

Wow. First time watching that video. It is amazing how much the YouTube platform has grown.

14 years... that's a very long time. Incredible how it blew up and I can't even imagine how it was to surf through the web without spending at least 5 minutes on youtube
