100 Subs!! (and a question about custom URL)

All,

I just reached 100 subs. I can actually thank this forum for a few extra subs that put me over the top. Next goal is 1K!

By the way, i'm trying to customize my channel name. My Youtube Channel is HereBeBarr. However, it's not letting me pick youtube.com/c/HereBeBarr as it says it's in use? But I know for a fact nobody else has it? I don't want to do a variation of my name that bad, anybody know a work around here?

HI congratulations on 100! I'm not big enough to create my own URL yet but can will it work if you can change the "c" to "channel"?
 
Firstly, congrats on the milestone :) Every milestone is a good one, but the 100 sub count is surely one of the best!

Re the custom URL. I ran in to the EXACT same situation just over a month ago. DO NOT do anything too hasty. Doesn't seem like you will but still, don't try to cut your losses and pick something inferior. If it's not in use then just wait it out. It WILL become available to you. How long will it take? Who knows. For me I just kept checking every day and after merely 5ish days the one being offered was the one I wanted. But I've seen other peoples responses stating it took weeks. So just wait it out.

Congrats on 100! I personally would also like to know more about the custom link, as I created one, but it is still not working or active as my channel, but it won't let me change it to resolve the issue.
