*laughs* If you're only doing youtube do get money please stop.

Depending on who you're partnered with they will take a certain amount from it.

You also need to remember:
- Most mobile views are not monetised
- Embedded views are not monetised
- Not every view will be monetised (some won't see any adverts).

*laughs* you think most channels especially the big would still do youtube if they didn't get ANY money? they'd have to get a regular job then they wouldnt get the time and wouldnt have the motivation. Get your head out of the sand.

But you're missing the point.. They make their own videos.. you dont No one here is trying to be rude or anything but seriously think about what you are doing.. You are uploading other peoples videos and trying to make money from that so your essentially pirating which is illegal

Less than the top 1% of YouTubers are able to live off their YouTube revenue and then you have to think.. YouTube will die out eventually, trends are changing.. will those big channels still be around and popular in years to come? Minecraft will eventually die out so everyone will have to adapt or go back and have a 'real job'

Clearly you don't understand. The big channels that have got big DIDN'T start out wanting to get money from it. The money is a plus side so they can do what they love fulltime.

Theres a big difference between pinching other peoples videos and downloading full football matches, converting the files then looking through the full match picking out the players best bits. I know its not legal but they rarely do anything about it, there's channels like mine with 50k subs with there videos monetized making money.

There is absolutely no security in YouTube - too many people, especially the younger channel dreamers are pinning their hopes in being able to support a lifestyle they aspire to. I could generate more money betting on you to 'fail' than succeed.

We're all allowed to dream of what might be, but it will be just that - a fantasy. Using an example of a so-called 'successful' YouTuber (based on a sub number and views) isn't motivational, it's delusional!

It's just an opinion - no harm is intended! ;)

It doesnt matter if they didnt start out with the intention of making money, would they still do it now if they didn't get any money?

They probably can't believe they've reached a point where they can produce anything and it'll bring in revenue. As long as the Google money is there, it's a license to print money for them. Many of them would be gone if no money existed in it.

Depending on which youtubers YOU are refering to. The ones I watch would because they actually care about the people watching them. People like pewdiepie wouldn't because he doesn't care.
